Metro FM celebrated its twentieth birthday last week by giving R1 million to lucky listener Neelen Jeffries from Eesterus in the east of Pretoria at Maropeng, The Cradle of Humankind. The party brought to a close the station's "I Am An African" tour, in which it broadcast from 11 countries in 20 days: South Africa, Zambia, Gabon, Benin, Ghana, Mali, Senegal, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique.
