16 September 2006 sees the return of the Joburg Day Music Festival with 94.7 Highveld Stereo and Santam at the Randburg Sports Complex in celebration of heritage month. "94.7 has a long history of promoting local artists and is committed to showcasing local music," says Ravi Naidoo, 94.7 Highveld Stereo station manager. "Joburg Day is really an extension of that commitment - 94.7 is Proudly South African and proud of SA music." Joburg Day has full permission and support from the City of Joburg.
