This year, Cape Town's annual South African Horror Festacular (www.horrorfest.info) expands it tentacles to include more of the genre than merely movies by presenting chapters for literature, photography, comics, PlayStation games, and, of course, the dress-up night and live soundtrack performance to a silent classic. Besides totally cool horror/chiller/freaky movies over 27 - 30 October 2006 at The Labia Theatre, Shadow Realm Vol. II: Twisted Nerve is this year's compiled feature length collection of locally made short movies veering away from the norm, including foreign short flicks from the USA, UK, Brazil and Canada.
