Cape Town based ABC Press, for years one of South Africa's leading printing companies, have recently installed their own dedicated computer to plate division. ABC Digital Plate, which is house in the ABC Press premises in Epping, will now allow customers to go directly from disc to plate thereby cutting out having to first image film. Apart from the financial saving in not having to run film, valuable time is also saved in make readies while there is no doubt that the quality of the final end product is also vastly improved.
