The Dirty Skirts will take top billing at the MTV Alert with Motorola event alongside the three runners-up: hip-hop stars PROKid and 985, and retro-modern rockers Cassette. The four guest artists of the SMS voting competition, rounding up the line-up, are Springbok Nude Girls, Zola, Jozi and Prime Circle. The event forms part of the City of Johannesburg's 2006 Arts Alive initiative and will take place at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown, Johannesburg, on 16 September 2006.
