Zimbabwe local government association president, Cde Jerry Gotora, has urged African government associations to share development information and technology which could be crucial for growth; including, among others, participatory budgeting, transparency and accountable policy development, and education. Gotora was speaking at a two-day knowledge management workshop for African local government associations, which ends today, 20 March 2007. Hosted by Zimbabwe, the workshop was attended by associate members from Zambia, South Africa, Mali, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya and Benin.
