Nearly 100 000 DStv viewers in Zimbabwe are no longer able to receive the four free-to-air South African TV channels, SABC 1,2,3 and e-TV - MultiChoice Africa has scrambled transmission of these channels because neither Multichoice Africa, the SABC nor eTV hold programming rights to allow distribution outside South Africa. Multichoice Africa said in a statement that they had tried on many occasions to find ways to clear the rights but that it had not been possible.
