Gaming expo sets dates
The sixth annual technology and gaming expo, rAge 2008, will take place in Johannesburg, 3 – 5 October 2008, at the Coca-Cola dome in Northgate, Johannesburg. It is positioned to take advantage of pre-Christmas sales and marketing campaigns; for example, Microsoft used rAge as the venue for the South African launch of the Xbox 360 in 2006, and The Core Group chose the expo for the Nintendo Wii's first public appearance in SA in 2007.
