The Aerospace Industry Support Initiative (AISI) of the Department of Trade and Industry (dti) has confirmed funding for the Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo, Cape Town, 20-24 September 2006, which will allow 30 SMMEs to participate alongside global players in the aerospace, defence, maritime, and security sectors. The funding will provide a pavilion for AISI and 30 SMME exhibitors, including a meeting and reception area; financial support for covering exhibition expenses; and associated travel and accommodation costs.
