5FM announced today, Friday, 5 September 2008, that as of tomorrow, its Weekend Breakfast show will now be co-hosted by Mark Gillman - broadcasting all the way from the UK. Commented co-host Elana Afrika, “Now the real fun begins! If there's anyone that knows about waking up or getting others up and going its Mark! And because my studio is just big enough for one breakfast presenter, I left him in London while I am broadcasting from South Africa.” It's been more than two years since Gillman ended his nine-year relationship with 5FM to pursue other interests.
