Book lovers' title facing closure

Books & Leisure magazine has “sadly come to the end of the road… as without the support from paid advertising we can no longer sustain the magazine,” managing editor Carol Röthlisberger said yesterday, Monday, 19 November 2007 in a statement. “If by some miraculous twist of fate in the next two months, Books & Leisure finds an investor, we will pick up the pieces and fulfill our promise of a world-class magazine.”
