Citizen camera man wins again
The Citizen's pictures editor Wessel Oosthuizen recently claimed top honours as the Sasol Springbok Photographer of the Year awards for the second year in a row, winning for his iconic picture of Springbok captain John Smit and President Thabo Mbeki at the Rugby World Cup final. "His winning photo of captain John Smit and President Mbeki with the Webb Ellis trophy perfectly captures a historic moment of national unity," comments Martin Williams, editor of The Citizen.
