Rugby World South Africa, the Cape Town-based monthly rugby magazine launched last year, received a special accolade last week when its editor, Andy Colquhoun, was named as the winner of the Sasol Springbok Journalist of the Year prize at the annual SA Rugby Awards held in Sandton, Johannesburg. He was singled out by the judging panel for the “excellent work he does in all the disciplines; from editing a fine magazine and producing arguably the best annual in the world of rugby to his factual, incisive, accomplished and fearless writing”.
