New OPA members
Vodacom, SA Goodnews, Africa Media Entertainment and Thunda.com have recently joined the Online Publishers Association (OPA), teaming up with a number of prominent online publishers whose aim is to promote the growth of the online industry. “It's encouraging to see such growth in the South African online market,” says Matthew Buckland, chairman of the OPA. “Over the past year there has been an increase of more than 2 million users who have gone online and continues to grow. We are pleased to broaden the market by having these new members come on board to further cement South Africa's online publishing industry.”
