The South African Post Office was announced as the National Business of the Year for 2008 at the National Business Awards in Johannesburg earlier this week. According to the panel of judges, the post office has taken giant steps towards achieving its vision: to be recognised amongst the leading providers of postal and related services in the world. Comments group CEO Motshoanetsi Lefoka, “All employees have been working tirelessly to position the company in the commercial business environment. Through our initiatives that embrace innovation and technology, we intend to continue to improve on our sterling performance. I would like to thank our shareholder, employees, partners and most importantly our customers! Without their commitment, dedication and support, this would not have been possible.”
