Agency merges print production, DTP
JWT Johannesburg is exploiting the natural synergy between print production and DTP by fusing what are traditionally two separate departments into one. With this move comes the promotion of Heather Smith to the position of head of department, print production/DTP. "The integration of these two departments has created a strong and streamlined team working towards a common set of goals," says Judy van Dam, JWT Johannesburg's MD. Smith handles the print-production and art-buying on all of JWT Johannesburg's accounts including Nokia, Ford, Unilever, Kelloggs, Bayer, Nestlé and De Beers. Prior to joining JWT Johannesburg, she worked with King James JHB, Mortimer Harvey and Associates, KM Advertising, Adlib Communications and Y&R PE.
