The Refinery team is thrilled to announce that colourist Paul Arneil of Rushes London, has joined the team alongside the talented Michele Wilson.

Paul comes with a wealth of education and experience in the audiovisual field. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Design, specializing in Audiovisual Communication, through Staffordshire University in the UK.

When Paul joined Rushes, he discovered telecine and said he had instantly found his calling. He's also had the opportunity of working on three different machines: Ursa Diamond, Spirit and C-Reality, with da vinci 2k grading. "My favourite piece of work to date was grading an Oasis music video, 'cos I was such a fan of their music growing up in the 80's and 90's, so it was a huge thrill".

Being in South Africa for the first time, Paul has been suitably impressed with the quality of work. "In terms of numbers, South Africa obviously has less post houses than that of London but the quality of work is as good as anywhere in the world and I am looking forward to working with new directors."
