Lali Stander was appointed to the position of Media Manager for the Southern Africa PGA Tour on September 1, 2004.

Stander will manage a department she helped to establish during her time at the SA PGA Tour over three years, from 1999-2002. She left the Tour in June 2002 to gain more experience, particularly at a corporate, PR and advertising level.

"I leapt at the chance to come back to the Tour," said Stander.

"Having launched the media department in 1999 with very little experience, I felt that I had reached a personal ceiling and could not take the department any further. It's very exciting to see how far this department has grown under Petro van Bosch and I am looking forward to taking it to the next level."
