Virgin Atlantic has appointed Nilanthi Manatunga as Country Manager for Virgin Atlantic's Kenya office. Manatunga joined Virgin Atlantic when they commenced operations in Kenya in June 2007 as the Sales and Marketing Manager. Previously she worked for 10 years at British Airways in various positions including Financial Controller East Africa and Indian Ocean Islands, based in Kenya, Country Commercial Manager Zambia and Commercial Manager Central Africa before joining Virgin Atlantic. She replaces Mike Higgins who has taken up a position as Virgin Atlantic's Africa Manager.
