Jenny Tyobeka elected as the new Executive Director and Board Member of Thebe Investment Corporation.
Jenny Tyobeka, the new Executive Director and Board Member of Thebe Investment Corporation, started her corporate career in 1991 as an Institutional Specialist at DBSA. She worked her way through the ranks of DBSA to become a Regional Manager.

In October 2000 she took the position of General Manager, Business Banking Services, A Division of ABSA making her the first black female staff member to serve on the Business Banking Services EXCO. She spearheaded Absa's Retail Sector Alliance Strategic Initiative and launched a financial services joint venture involving the JD Group, Absa and Thebe Financial Services as shareholders.

Jenny holds a Masters in Sociology from University of Zambia, a Bachelor of Social Science from University of Cape Town, a Diploma in Financial Markets & Instruments from RAU as well as a Certificate in Financial Management from University of Pretoria.

As an Executive Director her role will include being CEO of Thebe Community Financial Services (TCFS), CEO of Thebe Securities, CEO of Emid and also being a Board Member of Thebe Investment Corporation.
