The Communications Firm, public relations, events and branding specialists have appointed Shoni Makhari, a public relations and communications expert to head the firm's corporate communications division.

Shoni, a former financial journalist and press fellow at Wolfson College - Cambridge University, UK - has a wealth of experience in corporate communications in both agency and corporate environment.

Prior to joining The Communications Firm, he was managing director of Manning Selvage & Lee, a global communications group where he was key in turning around the network's South African operations.
