ART DIRECTOR
Food & Home Entertaining is looking for an Art Director to join their team in Craighall, Johannesburg.
The ideal candidate should:
• Have three to five years' relevant industry experience, preferably in consumer magazines.
• Have a proven knowledge of InDesign, PhotoShop and experience in the production process as a whole.
• Be responsible for the final look of the magazine.
• Work with the editor to ensure that the ethos of the magazine is captured in its design.
• Liaise with production and repro to solve any problems that may arise.
• Work with the editor on getting a perfect cover for each edition.
• Keep up with current magazine design trends and bring creative concepts to the table.
• Run an efficient design team.
• Know DTP to print process.
• Work to strict deadlines and as a member of a team.
• An interest in the culinary world is beneficial.
