Day one at WAN Congress Cape Town 2007
Bizcommunity.com and local video and photo-sharing site www.Zoopy.com have partnered to bring you coverage of the 60th World Newspaper Congress, 14th World Editors Forum and Info Services Expo 2007, the annual global meetings of the world's press organised by the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) taking place this year for the first time in Africa at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, 3 – 6 June 2007.

Around 1600 delegates from 105 countries -- publishers, CEOs, managing directors, chief editors, other senior newspaper executives and their guests -- are registered for the events. This is the second largest gathering in WAN history, following last year's events in Moscow, Russia, which drew 1700 participants.
