The official launch of Two Baker Way took place on Friday, 13 June 2008 in association with J&B Jet. This new complex houses three companies; A Unit (equipment rentals), Peninsula Radio Electronics (two way radio communications, CCTV, access control and fleet management sales, rentals, servicing and installations) and Seven Star (luxury trailers rentals) that offer a specialist one-stop service to the film industry.

The launch was a stylish affair having partnered with J&B Black and the J&B ‘start a party' campaign, guests were thrilled as the larger than life mirror ball was suspended at the entrance to the black adorned Bedouin tent which provided guests with a mystical feel with huge entrance features with silver stars amongst many other features left guests feeling like they were entering a world of magic.

Guests were entertained by South Africa's popular mind mentalist and magician Larry Soffer. Famous for his fork bending abilities, Soffer displayed cunning skills of mind reading and certain balloon swallowing tricks - not suitable for view of minors - had guests amazed before he in a burst of pyrotechnics magically unveiled the main feature for the night - three different types of new luxurious Seven Star trailers exclusively available to the film industry in South Africa.

The event wrapped up with DJ Darren Rose entertaining the dancefloor faithfuls.
