The gremlins are on the loose in our TV newsrooms
Do you think our news broadcasts are professional?

As like most of the readers of this discussion board, I like to catch up on the day's events.

So every evening I sit and watch the evening news broadcasts, mostly eTV's.

I find the presenters somewhat mediocre to good, often seeing them with the occassional smile, but the technical bloopers that happen during the news stories are terrible.

And I thought, nah! They're just having a bad day like every other news network does.

Oh no! Watch for yourself. There is a blooper almost every night.

It is no wonder my sister-in-law from the UK said our broadcasts are amateurish.

I hate to admit defeat, but I think she could be right.
