Poor pay for writers
Why are PR companies getting away with offering pathetic salaries for experienced writers?

I find it quite alarming that PR companies (and others) believe it is acceptable to advertise that they are looking for writers with several years' experience, and all the right qualifications, for the most ridiculous salaries. Good writers are a scarce resource. These salaries are sheer exploitation. Perhaps that is why much PR copy is so bad -- if you pay peanuts...
