Will stronger sanctions on Zimbabwe aid the people's cause?
It seems the Zimbabwean people have lost their voices in all this madness and it looks like things will be getting worse before they can get any better.

Eight of the world's most powerful heads of government have called on the United Nations at the recent G8 Summit in Hokkaido, Japan, to toughen their sanctions on Zimbabwe. Tougher trade sanctions will indeed send a more forceful message to the Zim government but it will also add to the humanitarian crisis Zimbabwe is facing where poverty, food shortages, mass unemployment and hyperinflation has rendered their currency worthless. It seems the Zimbabwean people have lost their voices in all this madness and things look like they will be getting worse before they can get any better. Is tougher sanctions really the answer?
