Industrial Design (3d drawing)
Is Durban Institute of Technology so bad that they can't even incorporate Industrial Design as a degree? If we want to study this we have to go to Wits or Cape Technicon which is unfair.

Is Durban so far behind in the design study scene that we have to resort to going to Wits or Cape tech. I have money to study in Durban but obviously not at Wits or the Cape. I contacted Durban Institute of Technology and they said they might consider it (that was 1 year ago) and they still do not seem to have any interest. Industrial Design I feel is now my calling in life and would be most happiest as doing it for a career. I just feel its unfair that Durban has no drive or balls to be the best city in SA but it is sorely lacking in inventiveness. We could be studying some of the best degrees and courses that Cape Town, JHB and of all places Border and the Free State offer. Is there no way we can get DIT to actually get this degree aboard? I have been told by numerous professional artists through their websites that if you want to study 3d animation, the best way to do it is to learn to draw in 3d first.

Thank you for listening to my rambling. Please if you have any info let me know.
