Deon Maas and Tim du Plessis
Rapport decides to stop a short-lived Maas column after threats of boycotts from readers following a column saying even Satanists should be allowed freedom of religion.

Just heard on talk radio that Tim du Plessis has decided to pull the column for "commercial reasons". Phew, thank goodness, now we know what the real reason is behind what is considered newsworthy or not in Rapport. Did he not realise that Maas ticks people off for a living? Come on! Spineless is the word that comes to mind. Mr Du Plessis should never ever editorialise again about press freedom or money talking the loudest when it comes to media exposure. What a joke.
