Crap events
Why is Cap Events still allowed to do big industry events?

After the mess that was the Channel O Awards, I was horrified to witness the debacle called the South African Film & Television Awards unfold before me on SABC 2. It was only out of sheer horror that I managed to sit through the entire screening of the SAFTA's, mouth agog obviously, because what I saw was beyond embarrassing and hardly fitting of our industry. When the credits, in the wrong font, finally rolled, I wasn't surprised to see the circus had once again been hosted by CAP Events. Surely there are other event companies who can pull off a quality production, without making us all cringe.
