Does it have to be a Cape Town thing??
i'm thinking like... why can't we have little mini-Indabas throughout the country during the year and then one big one in Cape Town in February every year.

Some of us creatives are so busy we hardly make it to exhibition sin our own hometowns. The job market opens over the Jan - march period.. so does the "job" market for service organisations.. then come Design Indaba.. just as you land that client that wants his work done yesterday... i personally lost out on going 2 years in a row because i started as a one man company and only this year managed to find that unique individual that can hold teh fort when i step out.

So I'm wondering.. do we start our own little Design Exhibition in Durban.. and I think again.. but that would be reinventing the wheel.. why not just speak to the organisers.. tried that too.. first they ask for ideas.. then they say they'll get back to you.. and never do..

So where to from here??
