In fairness I know that it is not the company itself rather the consultant you are dealing with, and I just happen to keep getting the lousy ones. I'm not just talking your "smaller" agencies either I'm talking about the ones that have received awards this year for their "outstanding performance". Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't these people be "people persons"? I'm shocked at how some of these consultants have no clue. I get empty promises and they send me all over the show I take weekends to have appointments for them If I cant manage during the week, Ive even been told by one of them to be "sick" from work to make a "sure thing" second interview!!! Which I did, only to be told they gave it to another girl.

The other agencies have also come with their "oh so brilliant" positions, getting my hopes up and then they never call back (I am talking about a VERY renowned company here)

I also had to meet with one specific consultant and took off work again (like an idiot) and she wasn't their! She was off sick! And didn't even bother telling me.

I try avoid these places but so many job offers are threw these agencies. I feel sorry for the companies hiring these people to find them staff!!!
