Advertising is killing proper English
Why is that we no longer care about decent English in our advertising?

If I hear another Loosi Heeersh Gohing faw ut commercial for frigging Hirsches, I am going to start dumping my garbage outside their ghastly showrooms. They put rubbish on air, I'll put rubbish at their front door.

Why has the word ARE disappeared from common parlance in South Africa. We going to the Mall. Come on South Africa, stop being so bloody lazy. I hear some inane radio commercial for an instantly forgettable wine brand talking about 'stuffy colonial types' pronounciation. I would rather get it right than murder a very important language the way Souf Efricans seem to be content to do.
