The Market Photo Workshop in association with Africa Media Online will host Digital Imaging Masterclasses for South African imaging professionals.
The Masterclasses will be an opportunity for professionals to learn from two of the world's foremost Digital Imaging trainers; Peter Krogh and Graeme Cookson.
This is the first time that Peter Krogh will be in South Africa to conduct workshops that will demystify Digital Asset Management (DAM) and reveal practical techniques for effectively managing thousands of image files and securing their long-term storage. The practical Masterclasses will be relevant to any professional with large numbers of image files, such as professional photographers, archives and museums, graphic designers, picture libraries etc.
Peter is the celebrated author of The DAM Book: Digital Asset Management for Photographers and is known world-wide for his work on the Universal Photographic Digital Imaging Standards (UPDIG) which is the standard to which most of the world's leading professional photographic associations work. Peter is an Alpha tester for Adobe Photoshop, and is a sought after trainer globally, having conducted courses for Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP), many of the American Associations of Professional Photographers (PPA, NANPA, ASMP), and the UK-based Association of Photographers Limited (AOP). He has also presented at the world's leading imaging events including Imaging USA, Photoshop World, PDN's PhotoPlus Expo and the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Adventure.
Graeme Cookson has been brought to South Africa by Africa Media Online on three previous occasions and his courses are consistently sold out. His masterclasses are designed to help imaging professionals become confident that they are creating and assessing their images at global standards.
Participants will be just one of twelve in a class and will have the opportunity to attend a one-day lecture style training, and a more intensive two-day practical hands-on Masterclasses.
