The Your Family creative craft expo is finally back – only this time you can catch this exciting expo in its new home, Centre Court Emperors Palace Casino and Resort (just next to the OR Tambo International Airport) from 4–6 July 2008.

The show will offer added value to the public through a number of aspects:
1. The provision of workshops - these will be held on the hour for each day of the show, providing the public with the knowledge on how to create various elements of craft. Lectures are available to the public at no additional cost.

2. The displays of finished craft
Throughout the show, dedicated areas will be created to showcase finished pieces of craft from fabric painted items to quilts to sewing pieces etc.

More than 200 exhibitor stands can be viewed from a cross-section of major craft items including mosaicing, scrap-booking doll making, model clay working, glass cutting, stenciling, bead making, jewellery making and countless other.

“Crafters need to derive an income from a source that requires very little infrastructure which can essentially be operated from home. Currently limited opportunity exists for the crafter to display their craft cost effectively, while at the same time, offering added value to the interested public – until now. We at EventX, organisers of the expo, believe that the Creative Crafts Show will be both a visual and inspiring experience and will not only increase the overall awareness, but also the interest towards the craft industry.
