Ross Hillier photography exhibition

This exhibition covers two series of work that encapsulate the colours of the world based on the photographers experiences in life. - Nocturnal adventure and Moments of reality.

Nocturnal adventure - This series is about adventure, exploration, discovery and all the things your mind wonders about. A discovery of the moon, the night, the mountains, photography, clouds, forests, shutter speed, silence, the importance of a torch and a million little things in between. The details make these images stand out among others. The colours give life to a silent lonely night. Each image has its own story, its own intricate tale of becoming permanently recorded on a small piece of film. These images express the adventure of photography and where an intrigued mind will take you.

Moments of reality - This series demonstrates the ability of any situation to have an endless potential. The only variable would be how open your mind is to your world. It's about being in the right place at the right time. No time to think. No time to set up lights or take a light reading. That single moment of time that's over before you even knew it was there. These photographs are nothing but a collection of those moments.
