A 45-minute workshop promising to answer all the uneasy questions that printer companies are usually faced with, and is aimed at all printer users.
Issues such as the cost of cartridges - which in some cases can exceed the cost of the actual printer, the cost per page printed, the amount of ink in a cartridge of different manufacturers, one colour cartridge versus three separate cartridges technology and the cost of photo printing at home versus lab printing are some of the tough questions Lawrence van Namen, 19 year Lexmark document management expert will be answering.
Another hot topic to be covered will be the environmental impact of printing which forms part of Lexmark's ongoing ‘Print Less' campaign to educate consumers on using their printers in a more environmentally responsible way.
"Studies have shown that paper consumption causes up to 82% of the environmental impact during the use phase of a printer's lifecycle,” says Branislav Zivkovic, managing director of Lexmark South Africa. He went on to explain that Lexmark has reduced their CO2 footprint by 3% in 2 years which equals to keeping 1,230 cars off the road.
Lexmark will be present in the Digital Home section of the Expo displaying their latest wiresless printers and give a sneak preview of their soon to be launched Professional Series which includes a five year guarantee. They will also feature ongoing competitions and offer discount vouchers during the three day expo.
