Inspiring women cocktail evening

Our aim for this event is to raise funds and awareness for the Durbanville Children's Home.

You are invited to join us for an Inspiring Cocktail evening. We have a bumper evening planned for you at the Two Oceans Aquarium. Come face to face with translucent, fragile jellies, alien-like giant spider crabs, and the master of camouflage the shy octopus in the Atlantic Ocean Gallery while listening to TWO Inspirational Speakers. The myriad of exhibits offers a visual delight in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

Main Topic: “Wake Up to Your Potential & Dolphin Assisted Therapy”

Our Main Guest Speaker is Charissa Bloomberg. Charissa is a resident Psychologist on a SABC2 TV show and has been a guest on the SABC3 show “The Power Within”. She also has her own radio show on relationships. She was also a speaker at the Women's Show this year. Charissa is currently involved in studies with human and dolphin encounters. She dedicates many hours to these magnificent creatures. She is beginning to write her Doctorate on the subject and is involved in the making of a documentary on dolphin assisted therapy. She will be sharing her experiences with us and telling us all about Dolphin Assist Therapy. Charissais a truly an inspirational speaker and she is not to be missed!

The Second Guest Speaker for the evening is Lisa Chait. Lisa was the Presenter and
Executive Producer of ‘The Lisa Chait Show' on Cape Talk Radio and has won numerous
awards, among them “The Newsmaker of the Year Award”. Lisa has done over 5000
hours of radio programming, much of it interviewing some amazing and Xtraordinary
Women whose stories and the way they have dealt with life circumstances are an example
to us all. Lisa will relate her own experiences, choosing from among the most influential women she has interviewed and share with us what she has learned from their stories and
journeys.

Time: 18:30 for 19:00 until 21:30
Cost: R120 Pre-payment via EFT (no refunds for non attendance but someone can stand in for you) A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Durbanville Children's Home.
