Discussions with Nataniel

An outspoken and controversial figure, Nataniël continuously crosses over from the alternative circuit to the main stage, generating extensive media coverage and a massive cult following.

Join Nataniël for breakfast as he discusses his views on everything controversial, entertaining and current:
- About Nataniël: his life and experiences
- Do professional entertainers in South Africa get the assistance and recognition they deserve?
- Is load-shedding really a thing of the past?
- What is the international view of South Africa really after the Zimbabwe election debacle?
- Is Pieter de Villiers the right choice for Springbok Coach?
- What can we look forward to with Zuma as president?
- Is the current economic situation just a bump in the road?
- What is it South Africans need to lift their spirits?

Nataniël
South-African singer/songwriter/entertainer Nataniël launched his solo career in 1987 with the release of his first single, Maybe Time. Since then he has released 13 albums, staged more than 50 original theatre productions and published 10 books.

Over the past decade he has not only established himself as producer, director, designer, playwright and public speaker, but as South Africa's leading exponent of the solo stage act.

Nataniël manages Kaalkop Trading, his lifestyle manufacturing company, and records on his own independent label, Nataniël House Of Music.

Our MC: Fanie de Villiers
Fanie de Villiers straddling the pitch in enthusiastic triumph after dismissing Glenn McGrath to complete South Africa's epic five-run win at Sydney in 1993-94 in only his second Test is one of the most indelible images in South African sporting history.

It also sums up de Villiers the man - a tireless tryer who overcame physical setbacks, language prejudice and the blinkered view that his talents were fit only for limited-overs cricket to become the premier South African swing bowler of the post-apartheid era.

Always a colourful entertainer on the field, he plunged himself, some would say foot in mouth, into media work after his retirement.
