Adding to our popular Indesign Basic and Advanced courses, we would like to announce two exciting new courses starting this August.

The world is increasingly 'online crazy,' therefore we are presenting Fireworks and Flash classes to teach you how to create effective, interactive webcontent for advertising and for use on your magazine websites. The medium of print can be effectively advertised and promoted on the web, and we can show you how.

The course list now goes as follows: (Remember, the Flash course runs for two days and needs to be completed in its entirety. The other courses can be completed separately.)

18 August - Web graphics (Fireworks 8/CS3)
19-20 August - Web Animation (Flash 8/CS3)
21 August - Indesign Basic (CS2 and CS3)
22 August - Indesign Advanced (CS2 and CS3)

Training will be held on the 13th floor of the Naspers building in the training room, situated at the Heerengracht Media 24 building in Cape Town.

Training will be done predominantly on Creative Suite 3 (CS3), however the InDesign course will be for users of both CS2 and CS3, with emphasis on the difference between the programmes, highlighting the new features in CS3. For the animation courses we'll be using Fireworks 8 and Flash CS3.

You are welcome to bring your own laptop, permitted you have a working version of the software on it. If you can't provide your own laptop, one will be hired for you by the training provider at an additional cost of R300 (excl VAT) per day.

Training starts at 9:00 and will run till 15:30.
Lunch is not provided, but a cafeteria will be available at the venue. There will be a one-hour lunch break.

All courses are R1890 (excl VAT) per day, however we are offering a special 'early bird' rate of R1690 (excl VAT) per student per course for those who book by Friday 27 June 2008.

Payment must then be made by Friday 11 July 2008. All other bookings must reach us by Friday 25 July 2008 with payment made by Monday 4 August 2008.

There is great interest in these courses, so book ASAP to secure your place in the course.

All attendees will be issued with a certificate of proficiency upon successful completion of the course.
