Wired for PR writing II: Media releases, the second workshop in the Stellenbosch University Language Centre series on PR writing, will be presented on 30 May 2008.

Each participant should provide two examples of his/her own media releases prior to the workshop, which will be discussed and improved during the workshop. Only eight seats are available, and an introductory session on feature writing will form part of the programme. Participation in the workshop Wired for PR Writing I: General is not required.

Dawid Botha, an independent communications consultant who has been involved in the presentation of this workshop for five years, will facilitate the workshop. Lizette Rabe, head of the postgraduate department of journalism at Stellenbosch University, will be a guest presenter.

The workshop costs R1 850, and the closing date is 16 May 2008. Although the language medium will be English, the Language Centre follows a language-friendly approach and participants will be welcome to communicate in Afrikaans.
