HIV/Aids and the media - Telling the sick story

The HIV/Aids pandemic, both in South Africa and elsewhere on the continent, is more rampant than ever and evidence that the scourge is abating is absent, with little coverage by the media.

There are many innovative and creative ways in which the story of HIV/Aids can be told, simply because it remains one of the biggest news stories of all time.

You are invited to this important conversation on the media and HIV/Aids to explore these sensitive issues by means of abstracts, papers, poster and conversation topics.
