Basic reporting is a foundation course that enables participants to gather information from a range of sources for journalistic purposes. Participants will revisit crucial steps of gathering facts, sourcing information and positioning stories. Writing for Print will enable participants to turn the information they have into journalistic reports for the print media. The course aims to build sound writing practices for an increasingly competitive market.
