Great sports writing

It covers both hard news, such as breaking stories and match reporting, as well as feature writing and colourful sports writing and the "ins" and "out" of interviewing.

This three-day sports reporting workshop is aimed at broadcast and print journalists with between six and 18 months in a newsroom and who are passionate about sports writing but who have not had the time or the opportunity to hone their craft. It covers both hard news, such as breaking stories and match reporting, as well as feature writing and colourful sports writing and the "ins" and "out" of interviewing. This course is both theoretical and practical and provides plenty of opportunity for participants to practice as they learn.
