Typography workshop

Publishing and design consultancy, The President is presenting a typography workshop by well-known Dutch designer, Richard Niessen.

The two-day typography course, that will be hosted on 19 and 22 September, will include an overview of Niessen's own work and a detailed presentation on his personal methods of creating typography. On day two, delegates will receive a practical assignment that will be completed under the guidance of the speaker.

During the workshop, Niessen will focus on editing content, translating that content into type, making characters for a typeface, producing a simple poster and then translating that into another medium.
