What is animation?

At this workshop, you will meet leading animators who will explain to you, in layman terms, what animation is all about and what the difference is between the various forms of animation and the processes involved.

A workshop for non-animators!

You will get to understand the cost structures and the long-term feasibility of using animation for various productions. You'll be seeing examples of the various forms of animation and you'll also have the opportunity to do some hands-on exploring of some of the animation tools in-between the days' sessions. At the end of the day, you will understand why it takes so long to produce a few minutes of animated content – and you will leave with the knowledge that animation is truly versatile and indeed, an alternative to live action!
