ADC Designism 3.0

Join the third annual gathering of leading creatives committed to social activism and instigating change through media.

The annual forum from the ADC created to explore the responsibilities and experienced of creatives and designers in driving social and political change through their work and career focus.

The event conceived by Brian Collins, chairman and chief creative, COLLINS: and ADC board member, to explore the responsibility and experiences of designers and creatives in driving social and political change through their work and career focus. This year's edition is co-produced by Collins and fellow ADC board member Benjamin Palmer, CEO, the barbarian group, New York.

The agenda for Designism 3.0 includes:
Designer Milton Glaser, Milton Glaser Inc., New York, speaking on the effect of propaganda on design, art and your psyche.

“Designism Manifesto” presented by Allan Chochinov, designer, educator and partner at Core77.

“Design of Politics” panel discussion featuring Helen Walters, editor of BusinessWeek.com's Innovation and Design Channel and contributing editor to Creative Review, where she was formerly features editor, Tony Hendra, writer, contributor to The Huffington Post and former editor of Spy magazine, and Milton Glaser. The panel will be moderated by Steve Heller, co-chair, MFA Designer as Author department at the School of Visual Arts, New York, author and editor of more than 70 books about graphic design, and for 33 years an art director at The New York Times.

Three design-driven projects that initiated change, presented by IDEO.

Leading creatives partake in a Designism “Lightening Round”: rapid-fire presentations of forward-thinking work and results.
