This course, endorsed by the Association of Advertising Agencies (AAA), is South Africa's premier media program for aspirant media planners, buyers and media sales representatives.

By providing participants with thorough and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of media, AMASA and AAA are confident that any 3rd year marketing student or anyone working full time wanting to attend the course will gain a solid grounding and knowledge of media planning, strategy and the SA media landscape.
Advantages and disadvantages of each media channel will be discussed, laying down the tools necessary in order to develop a full media plan and strategy for a client or agency.
AMASA (Advertising Media Association of SA) is a non-profit organisation with its primary focus on education of people with an interest in the media, marketing and advertising industry, with a view to improving knowledge and skill in media decision making techniques and their use.
The course will run from June 3, 2008 at the AAA School of Advertising in Bree Street Cape Town and will last approximately six months, with the final exam held on Saturday November 1.
Lectures will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 17h30 until 19h30 and it will cost R8, 065 (including the textbook).
