The two-day course targets writers, illustrators, artists, journalists, web designers, photographers, musicians and composers who need to protect their creativity.
Anyone concerned with protecting their creativity and asserting their ownership and usage rights in this digital age should attend a two-day course titled, What is intellectual property, how does it impact on business and how does it operate in this digital age?
The focus will be on the importance of intellectual property rights in relation to copyrights, patents and trademarks. Copyright will be explained along with how it is created, its ownership and the implications of copyright infringement.
The course will also provide a brief overview of patents and explain trademarks - how they can be registered, infringed and protected.
