UJFM 95.4 is Jo'burg's newest youth community radio station, being granted virtually the last community licence in Gauteng in 2006. UJFM 95.4 strives for radio excellence by entertaining their listeners with far more realistic programming than the formatted commercial broadcasters in Gauteng, while dedicating a large part of their programming to South African content. With a major gap in the Jo'burg radio market, UJFM 95.4 have positioned themselves as the rock alternative, while catering to a diversified youth market, resulting in exceptional growth since the first FM broadcast in 2006.
